We are Can't Shoot This!

We are Rick Waters and Mason Betz-Waters.

Rick was a Military Intelligence Linguist in the Army, back in the 1990's.  He was assigned to the 10th Special Forces Group, and spent a ton of time hanging around the Sniper Shed.  Rick never became a Sniper, but he learned a lot about rifles. 
Between 1999 (when he left the Army) and 2020, Rick never touched a firearm.  Early in 2020, he bought a Sig Sauer P220 Legion in .45ACP as his first personal firearm.  Never having much experience with pistols, Rick took to the range.  
Rick now owns more than 30 firearms, including 10 handguns - in total he owns 7 Sigs.
Rick's been dreaming of owning desert property in Arizona or New Mexico since 2004.  He finally bought 40 acres of vacant land to build his own private shooting range.  This is where the majority of the Can't Shoot This videos will come from.

Mason is a young teenager who started shooting at Boy Scout Camp.  He doesn't have much desire to advance as a Boy Scout, but he is very determined to become a gunsmith.  His current career goal is to work for Sig Sauer in some capacity.  Maybe we will take a field trip there in 2023...
When it comes to guns, Mason has more diverse knowledge of anyone we know (including YouTubers) (I'm prone to hyperbole, BTW).  When we go to gun shops, Rick will often ask Mason about a gun right in front of the salespeople.  The salespeople's reaction is often quite funny when they realize Mason knows more than they do.

We want our videos to be entertaining.  We aren't going for the educational slant.  We aren't going for the slapstick slant.  We aren't going for the over the top 2A slant.  Within the boundaries of safety, we'll likely be going for the 'dare you' slant.  We hope you enjoy the videos.
